Special Achievements

Mathematics

Aswin Anoop of Class III A secured Fourth Rank in the Maths Talent Search School Examination (MTSE) conducted by the Kerala Ganitha Sasthra Parishad (KSSP). This outstanding achievement reflects his exceptional mathematical aptitude and academic excellence.

Language & Literature

Students of our school participated in the Bliss National Spell Bee Competition and secured remarkable ranks and accolades, reflecting their dedication, language proficiency, and commitment to excellence. The State Level Winners are Aneena Rose (Class V), Parvathy Pradeep Kumar (Class IV), Mirrah Annam Rinto (Class IV), Zaira Beegum S. (Class IV), Catherine Ann Marti (Class IV), Rozane George (Class IV), Sreenanda J. Menon (Class IV), and Om Praveen Iyer (Class IV). The National Level Winners are Joel Jomon (Class IV) and Niranjana V. (Class IV).

Sports

Vaedh Menon of Class III A successfully completed the Foodathon 7 km Run (Under-15 Category) conducted in connection with World Food Safety Day 2026 by the Varghese Kurien Institute of Dairy and Food Technology (VKIDFT), Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU), in association with the National Association of Food Scientists and Technologists (India), Thrissur Chapter.

Olympiad

The following students received prizes in the NSSO-ITO examination: K. Gouri Menon secured State Rank 8 and received a Gold Medal, Cash Prize of ₹700, and Class Topper 1. Vedhika A. Krishna (Class 4) received the Excellence Award with State Rank 21 and a Gold Medal. Noopura R. Sanand (VII D) became Class Topper 1 and received a Gold Medal. Rithik M. T. (IX C) secured Class Topper 2 and received a Silver Medal. Sumayya Beegum S. secured Class Topper 3 and received a Bronze Medal. Rajkiran Rajmohan (X A) became Class Topper 1 and received a Gold Medal.

Mathematics

Kerala Ganitha Sasthra Parishad, Kottayam conducted the MTSE examination in January 2026. The following students secured state level ranks and cash prizes: Abhijith Brijesh (Class 12 – State Rank 3, ₹1250), Soorya Narayanan K (Class 11 – Rank 2, ₹1500), Rajkiran Rajmohan (Class 10 – Rank 3, ₹1250), Vihaan M Menon (Class 8 – Rank 5, ₹700), and Aswin Anoop (Class 2 – Rank 4, ₹1000). Students who secured A1/A grades are: Ameya Madhavan V (Class 12 – A1), Vedika A Krishna (Class 4 – A1), Devon Elvis (Class 5 – A1), Aarav K (Class 6 – A), Mohizan P (Class 7 – A), Uthara R Menon (Class 9 – A), Catherene Teresa Sabu (Class 3 – A), and John Jenson (Class 3 – A).

Academic Excellence

The following students from BVB Poochatty secured outstanding ranks in JEE Advanced: Pranav Menon (AIR 5141), Madhav Midhun (AIR 6145), Abhijith Brijesh (AIR 10126), Devika Sanil (AIR 16301, OBC-NCL Rank 4299), Devasurya C. S. (AIR 17467, OBC-NCL Rank 4661), Arjun S. Nair (AIR 19062), and Namita Rajeev (AIR 19726). In addition, Yashwardhan P. B. achieved an excellent result in IIT UCEED, securing AIR 374 and Category Rank 61.
